Welcome to Iowa EMS the Home of Iowa's Premier Private Paramedic Ambulance Service! Midwest Ambulance Service of Iowa, Inc. began meeting the needs of the Des Moines metropolitan area in August of 1984. Since its inception, Midwest Ambulance Service of Iowa has grown from three employees and two vehicles to an excess of 100 full/part-time EMTs, Paramedics, and PRN employees as well as a fleet of over twenty vehicles company wide. Midwest Ambulance Service of Iowa began to expand in the 1990s by adding Midwest AmbuCare, Midwest Voice of Help and EMSAR to the Midwest Family. These companies have allowed Midwest Ambulance Service of Iowa to provide many different types of services to the healthcare industry. We desire to meet the needs of as many individuals as possible.
